THE 2017 SOCIAL MEDIA CONFERENCE(FACTS, FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS IN A CONNECTED WORLD)

On June 22 2017, KONRAD ADENAUER STIFTUNG held the third annual Social Media Conference which attracted over 300 speakers and guests. A number of subjects were discussed from blogging, citizen journalism, ethical standards, feminism, youth engagement, and the rise of populism. The discussion also revisited the role of social media especially as a tool that is transforming journalism and circulation of information.
