In 2010, the 76 year old company came to Uganda to create an organized collection and processing center in Bundibugyo. This came with training in modern farming techniques and sharing experience and best practices with farmers in the region.

The fate of many of them remains unknown today. Thousands of families are living in uncertainty and distress, not knowing whether their loved ones are dead or alive. The impact is even greater on those that solely depended on the missing person for economic sustenance.

69 year old Ayo Narasista’s son was abducted during the 20 year conflict in northern Uganda between the Lord’s Resistance Army and the government of Uganda. Thousands of people went missing as a result of the fighting and the fate of many of them remains unknown today. In this video, she gives us an insight into how her life was affected by the conflict.
